第二课时听说课 集中本单元的听力材料,进行听力训练;通过各种任务活动,练习本单元的语言结构.             

第三课时读写课 阅读本单元的sectiona3a和sectionb3a阅读文章,对文章进行理解分析,并进行同步写作.

第四课时综合训练课 通过听说读写对本单元的词.句.文进一步巩固,并增加一部分练习,适当拓展提高.

interesting、interested均为形容词,interesting是修饰事物的名词,而interested是修饰人的名词。

step6 the grammar: 定语从句

(1) 定义:在复合句中,修饰名词和代词的从句叫定语从句。被修饰的名词和代词叫先行词。

eg:this is the present that he gave me for my birthday.

(2) 引导定语从句的关系词有that(指人/物)which(指物)who(指人)

(3) 定语从句分限定性定语从句和非限定性定语从句。非限定性定语从句是对先行词所做的附加说明,它同主句的关系不是十分密切,即使省了,并不影响主句意义的明确或完整。非限定性定语从句一般用“,”与主句隔开。引导非限定性定语从句的关系代词不可省略,that不能引导非限定性定语从句。

(3)conj.连词,although;despitethefactthat意思是“虽然,尽管”,放在句首或句中,不与but连用。

few代词,有一点儿修饰可数名词,相当于fewbands.

正如乐队的名字所暗示的那样,这支乐队非常具有活力.

五..语法知识:(grammarfocus)-----attributiveclause(定语从句)

1.请对比下面两个短语

a. alovelygirl一个可爱的女孩 在这个短语中,lovely是形容词做定语来修饰名词girl.

b. agirlwholikespurple一个喜欢紫色的女孩 wholikespurple

是一个句子来修饰名词girl,它的作用与lovely相同,都是做定语修饰名词girl,我们把它称为定语从句。

请注意,形容词做定语修饰名词,一般放在名词之前;而从句作定语修饰名词,则要放在名词之后。下面我们具体了解定语从句。

2.

在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句叫做定语从句。被定语从句修饰的名词或代词叫做先行词。引导定语从句的词称为关系词,有关系代词和关系副词两类。在本单元中,我们只涉及到关系代词。

例如:ilikemusicthaticandanceto.我喜欢可以随之跳舞的音乐。

music是先行词,thaticandanceto是定语从句修饰music,其中,that是关系代词引导定语从句。

又如iprefersingerswhocanwritetheirownsongs.我喜爱能自己写歌的歌星。

singers是先行词,whocanwritetheirownsongs是定语从句修饰singers,其中,who是关系代词。

3.结构比较

(1)人(n.)+who+从句

比较:一位漂亮的女孩a beautifulgirl   beautiful是形容词做定语

agirlwhoisbeautiful  从句做定语(girl是先行词)

(2)物(n.)+that+从句

比较:一本有趣的书aninterestingbook   形容词做定语

abookthatisinteresting从句做定语(book是先行词)

4.关系代词who/that的作用:

a.做代词,代替先行词

b.在从句中担任句子成分:主语或宾语

c.做连词,把主句和从句连接起来

5.成分比较

who\that在从句中可担任:1.主语  2.宾语

(1)ilovesingerswhowritetheirownsongs.

who在从句中用作主语。

(2)heisthemanwhoimetyesterday.

who在从句中用作宾语。

(3)ilikemusicthaticandanceto.

that在从句中用作宾语。

(4)ipreferasandwichthatisreallydelicious.

that在从句中用作主语。

6.who/that在定语从句中做主语时,谓语动词的单复数应与先行词保持一致.

e.g. iprefershoesthatarecool.

ilikeasandwichthatisreallydelicious.

ilovesingerswhoarebeautiful.

ihaveafriendwhoplayssports.

7.定语从句的关系词与其他从句的引导词的区别 

试比较:ilikemusicthaticandanceto.

themusicisgreatbecauseyoucandancetoit

that与because的区别:that是定语从句的关联词,代替music在从句中做danceto

的宾语。而because是原因状语从句的引导词,只起到连词的作用,在句中不做成分。在danceto后面加it指代music.
