1)Sure这里作副词,表示肯定(=Surely,Certainly,Ofcourse)
2)Goahead有下列几种常用的用法:

(1)thattheyneed定语从句,修饰先行词information。关系代词只用that而不用which,因为当先行词之前有不定代词all,any,every,no,some等修饰时或先行词本身就是不定代词(如anything,something,nothing,all等)时,其后的定语从句常用关系代词引导。如果that在定语从句中作宾语,that可以省略。

6.workat,workon的区别
workonsth.中sth.是work的具体对象,workatsth.中sth.只说明所从事工作的性质(即时间、精力用在某一方面的事情上),而不在于说明正在做什么。如:
Whentheboysawthesoldiers,hestoppedworkingonthebranch,stoodup,andtookoffhiscap.小男孩看到了这些士兵,便停止了削树枝,站了起来,取下帽子。(树枝是具体的对象)
workon还表示“继续工作”“努力影响或努力说服”。

7.Journalistshavetostopworkingononestoryandstartworkingimmediatelyontheimportantnewone.记者不得不放下手头正在写的报道,立即着手写新发生的重要事件。
1) stopworking停止工作;stopdoingsth.停止干;stoptodosth.停下手头的事去干别的事
A.Now,stoptalking.Classbegins.不要讲话了,开始上课。
B.It'stimeforclass.Pleasestoptolistentotheteacher.上课了,请停止讲话,听老师讲课。
2)startworking开始工作
start,begin,continue这几个动词后接动名词和动词不定式意义基本一样。但start,begin这两个动词要注意下列用法:
A.句中主语是物而不是人时,其后最好跟不定式。
Theicebegan/startedtomelt.冰开始化了。
B.当begin,start本身为-ing形式时,其后应跟不定式。
I'mbeginning/startingtocookthedinner.我正要做饭。
C.其后的动词是情感动词或是与智力相关的动词如understand;realize;wonder;forget,remember;know;like;love等时也应用不定式形式。如:
I’mbegantounderstandwhathehaddonethatfor.我开始明白了他原来为什么做那件事。

8.Peoplewanttobuythelatestnewspaper.人们要买最新的报纸。
l)句中的thelatest意为“最新的,最近的”应和the连用,不可理解为late的最高级。如:
thelatestnews最新消息 thelatestmodel最新型号
Haveyoureadthelatestnovel?Itismuchbetterthanhislastone.你有没有看过他最新出版的小说,比他上一本好多了。
2)late除表示“晚、迟”之外,还可表示“已故的,前任的”意思,没有比较级。一般和定冠词连用,如:

3)lately意为“近来”=recently如:

A.本句还可以这样写

C.aswell有时和may/might(just)连用时,构成:

(1))动名词作主语
动名词作主语一般置于句首,谓语用于单数,如:
但是表语是nouse,nogood,useless,better,awasteoftime,nice,fun等时,应将动名词放至句尾,用it作形式主语。如:
Itisnogoodwastingmoney.It’snouseworkingdayandnight.
(2)动名词作宾语(包括介词的宾语)
A只要求动名词作宾语,而不能用不定式作宾语的动词有:
finish,enjoy,suggest,avoid,mind,consider,practise,miss,dislike,risk,delay,escape,imagine,appreciate,can’thelp,keepon,putoff,giveup,lookforwardto,getdownto等。
