1.阅读训练1:教材上的阅读是一封书信。Mekanica给人类写一封信,介绍:3044年的生活方式和具体感受。文章充满大胆的想象和对美好生活的向往,借此来激发学生的想象力,使其憧憬未来生活,更要珍惜现代生活。

2.阅读训练2:练习册(Workbook)里的阅读通过对farmers,marketingpeople,peoplewhoworkwithcomputers,以及teachers目前和未来工作状况和工作形式的比较,鼓励学生为在未来生活中找到立足之地而努力学习。
