ithinkthatfromabiologicalstandpoint,humanlifealmostreadslikeapoem.ithasitsownrhythmandbeat,itsinternalcyclesofgrowthanddecay.itbeginswithinnocentchildhood,followedbyawkwardadolescencetryingawkwardlytoadaptitselftomaturesociety,withitsyoungpassionsandfollies,itsidealsandambitions;thenitreachesamanhoodofintenseactivities,profitingfromexperienceandlearningmoreaboutsocietyandhumannature;atmiddleage,thereisaslighteasingoftension,amellowingofcharacterliketheripeningoffruitorthemellowingofgoodwine,andthegradualacquiringofamoretolerant,morecynicalandatthesametimeakindlierviewoflife;theninthesunsetofourlife,theendocrineglandsdecreasetheiractivity,andifwehaveatruephilosophyofoldageandhaveorderedourlifepatternaccordingtoit,itisforustheageofpeaceandsecurityandleisureandcontentment;finally,lifeflickersoutandonegoesintoeternalsleep,nevertowakeupagain.oneshouldbeabletosensethebeautyofthisrhythmoflife,toappreciate,aswedoingrandsymphonies,itsmaintheme,itsstrainsofconflictandthefinalresolution.www•

noonecansaythatalifewithchildhood,manhoodandoldageisnotabeautifularrangement;thedayhasitsmorning,noonandsunset,andtheyearhasitsseasons,anditisgoodthatitisso.thereisnogoodorbadinlife,exceptwhatisgoodaccordingtoitsownseason.andifwetakethisbiologicalviewoflifeandtrytoliveaccordingtotheseasons,noonebutaconceitedfooloranimpossibleidealistcandenythathumanlifecanbelivedlikeapoem.
