我读完《全球气候》时，我才发现环境的严重污染。

里面说，现在由于二氧化碳的严重增多，导致全球变暖，从而影响海平面上升0。5厘米。听起来不算多，可是地球上还有更大的淡水区，那就是南极和格陵兰岛，如果南极的冰全部融化，海平面会上升60米，再加上格陵兰岛的冰，海平面还会上升6米。现在的美国海边，经常有台风出现，导致巨大的经济损失，气候变暖使高山动物开始迁移，许多动物因为不适应环境而灭绝。
