春节是中国最盛大、最热闹、最重要的一个古老的传统节日，也是中国人所独有的节日。

春节，是农历的岁首，春节的另一名称叫过年。自西汉以来，春节的习俗一直延续到今天。春节一般指除夕和正月初一。

春节的来历有一种传说，中国古时候有一种叫“年”的怪兽，凶猛异常，常年深居海底，每到除夕才爬上岸，吞食牲畜伤害人命。因此，每年除夕这天，人们就要躲避“年”兽的伤害。有一年除夕，从村外来了个乞讨的老人，说一定能把“年”兽撵走。半夜，“年”兽闯进村，它发现村里气氛与往年不同：村东头老婆婆家，门贴大红纸，屋内烛火通明。院内传来“砰砰啪啪”的炸响声，“年”最怕红色、火光和炸响。“年”狼狈逃窜了。从此人们都知道了驱赶“年”兽的办法。从此每年除夕家家贴红对联、燃放烟花爆竹;户户烛火通明、守更待岁。这风俗越传越广，成了中国民间最隆重的传统节日。

春节，是我们中华民族的传统节日，它代表着团圆、幸福、平安。新年新气象，万象更新，我最喜欢，可以穿新衣裳，收红包，放鲜艳而缤纷的烟花，太有趣了。

腊月二十八，早晨起来，大家一起来贴对联，对联诗句真美妙，上联：“春风得意年年好”，下联：“锦绣前程步步高”，横批：“吉星高照”。过年贴“福”字的习俗，大约在宋代以前就已流行了，不过倒着贴“福”的做法，据说出现在明代早期。把“福”字倒着贴的意思是“福到”，象征着团团圆圆，幸福美满。因此，我家门前也贴了一张“倒福”。

除夕真热闹，家家敢做年菜，到处是酒肉的香味。妈妈摆上了丰盛的佳肴，有鸡、鹅、鱼等山珍海味。你们知道吗?每道菜都有它们的含义。鸡：表示勃勃生机，在未来的一年里每天都精神有活力;鹅：表示小孩子聪明伶俐;鱼：表示年年有余。这一点一滴都表示春节的喜庆。年夜饭煮好了，大家围在餐桌上吃美味的饭菜，这些饭菜简直可以与五星级酒店里的佳肴堪比。

正月初一，我早早起了床，穿上美丽的以上，跑下楼来对爷爷奶奶说上一句祝福语：“祝爷爷奶奶福如东海，寿比南山，龙马精神。”听到我给他们的祝福，爷爷奶奶也不甘落后，立马从口袋里掏出两个红包给我。

到了正月初一晚上，我迫不及待地放了烟花，然后又放了鞭炮。有“喜迎大地”、“百鸟迎春”……个个都绚丽多彩，让人看得眼花缭乱、应接不暇。

在这欢声笑语中，伴随着噼里啪啦的鞭炮声，敲响了新年的钟声，我们迎来了崭新的一年。我爱春节!
