但是，做为猫，小猫咪还是那么尽职尽责。它只要一看见老鼠就立刻扑上去，一天到晚不知要吃多少只老鼠呢。记得有一次，我去苹果箱子里取苹果，突然从箱子里窜出一只又大又肥的老鼠，把我吓得直打哆嗦，这时该小猫咪出场了，先是闪电般地扑上去用爪子按住老鼠，发出一阵阵“嘶嘶”的声音，把老鼠吓得魂飞魄散，然后，又故意把老鼠放掉，没等老鼠歪歪斜斜走几步时，小猫咪又跃身将它拦在面前，就这样几个回合之后，老鼠已经毫无反抗之力，完全吓得个半死，最后，成了小猫咪刀板上的肉，任其割舍，任其享受……这就是我家的小猫咪，一只既贪吃，又尽职的小猫咪。
