But the dreams are like small seeds planted in their hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.

Dream is the fountain of strength. Dream is the support of faith. Dream is the Polaris. Dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. One of my friends told me that dream will never discard anyone! Yes, maybe one day everything is gone but dreams is still there with you, eternally.

Dream changed us, and therefore we changed the world. It is dream that refreshes the world every day. It is also dream that makes the world improve day by day. We dare to dream. We can also achieve our dreams and change the world.

In China, Spring Festival is one of the most important festivals. It is also getting more and more popular in some foreign countries. When Spring Festival comes, it means that a new year comes, and people grow a year older. During the festival, it is very crowded throughout the country.

On the eve of Spring Festival, parents get food, clothes and Spring Festivals goods prepared. The people who work outside come back, and the whole family gets together to have meals and say goodbye to the last year, and welcome the New Year. After the meal, they wait until midnight comes. They set off fireworks then.

On the first morning of the Spring Festival, everyone wears their new clothes and then go to others homes to celebrate the New Year. Each family sets off fireworks when their guests come, and they take out sweets and peanuts to share. On the following days, they go around to their relatives and friends. The Spring Festival has several meanings. It means people working outside can come back to relax themselves, a new year begins. When spring comes, farmers begin to plant crops and people make a plan for the New Year.

All the people throughout the world pay much attention to it. Our country of course holds some national celebrations to celebrate it. This most traditional festival in China will go on being celebrated in the future.

I do not fault anyone else who makes choices to play characters that they wished they hadn t... Because at the end of the day, none of us are happy with our jobs all the time.

That s one of the things about theater vs. film - with theater, actors have a little more control, and one of the disappointing things about films is that once you re done shooting, anything can happen, you know?

Animals on factory farms all face pain and fear, just like the animals we share our homes with, yet are repeatedly abused in shocking ways.

I love working with the same actors repeatedly. That happens a lot. It s kind of inevitable, especially if you work with the same writers and directors and you start to form a company of actors. You gravitate towards each other.I never lived in an abandoned railroad station.

I was opposed to doing TV for a long time because I thought the quality of writing wasn t very strong, as opposed to film, but there s been a shift in term of the quality of scripts. HBO has attracted a tremendous amount of great writing talent.

Game of Thrones is an amazing show, and I have no problem speaking of the virtues of HBO.

Maybe everyone is a little too reassuring that things are going to be OK to college graduates. It gives them a false sort of security.

THIS AFTERNOON, my office sent out over 34,000 email notifications to high school seniors who applied Regular Decision and were waiting with anticipation to learn whether they would be invited to spend the next four years at Stanford.

Even though I have been in the admission field for over 30 years, I still feel quite a bit of pain at the end of this week (as I do each year) about the many exceptional youths who were not offered a space in the class. I also expect that in the following weeks I will hear from parents who are understandably distraught that their sons and daughters with top high school class rankings, very high SAT scores and some truly impressive extracurricular accomplishments were denied entry.
